you can use them on the street, they will just wear down super fast since soft composition.

They are not street legal, but of course you can drive them on the street. I wouldn't though; these tires have a 40 tread wear rating, so they won't last very long on rough public roads.
My set was just delivered and they are so soft you can carve your name in them with your thumb nail lol

These are tires you bring with you to the track on an extra set of wheels, mount on the car at the track, and take off before you drive back home. Reviews say they last between 150-400 road track miles

Miles is actually not a very accurate way of expressing how long they last. Most use heat cycles, basically sessions from warm up to cool down. They say 15-20 heat cycles. With 4 ~20-minute sessions on my typical lapping day, that would mean they will last me 4-5 track days. Personally, I seriously doubt that they will

Well I typically run a 20psi tune at the track so I'm probably closer to 420, plus I'm at altitude, but yeah. It's fun messing with the Porsches and other exotics

Road racing, not drag. My fastest lap time is a 2:07, but that doesn't mean anything to you unless you know the track

What track?

You should come visit the new National Corvette Musuem track and dominate some Corvettes. It is kind of a drive from Denver though.

I go to High Plains Raceway, about an hour east of Denver. High Plains Raceway - Colorado's Top Amateur Racing Track and Facility
Yeah Kentucky is a little bit of a drive

Yes, they are 2009 production. So what? To my knowledge tires only deteriorate from load and being in direct sunlight. The compound shouldn't be affected.

I just did a winter lapping session on winters with 2008 production dates.
As long as the rubber isn't cracked I wouldn't be very worried, but I also wouldn't expect full grip either.


Insanely crazy deal on those slicks, I feel like buying stacks of them just because of how good the price is.

Rubber is very supple throughout the tire. I also had my set heat cycled.


I was tempted to call them and ask how many they had ;-)
