GT Track Days at NCM Motorsports Park Aug. 28-30 2015
Come out and have some fun with us at one of the newest tracks in the country on Aug 28-30. NCM is a 3.15 mile long track with 23 turns. Pricing before March 15,2015 will be $675.00 for all three days. $495.00 for two days Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun. Single day registration will open June 1, 2015 IF needed. We do anticipate this event to sell out and single day registration unlikely. This event will be open to any make and model car. Four run groups with 25-30 cars per group. Schedule will be posted soon. If you have any questions let me know and I will assist you.

I was going to make a thread on this, and just completely forgot... Whoops. I did make one for MFBA though...
This event is being put on by a fabulous group who has done events for many years at Road America, and now now this summer we are all making the trip down to Kentucky!
The link to register sometimes has issues, so try this one also... https://www.motorsportreg.com/events...6#.VQB_Io73-iw

The Grand Full Course, so 24 turns and 3 miles. Should be at least 5 sessions a day. It's priced very competitively with what other track days are going for at this track. For example, Chin is $499 + $75 for an instructor. MVP's event in April has sold out, so they took down pricing, but based on their other events I'm sure they were right around the same cost.

I guess it still has that new track smell, I raced the West course and the asphalt was still fairly "green" back in October. Lap times across the board picked up 2+ seconds by the 2nd day. From what I've seen most racing has been held on the West course so far so expect grip levels on that part of the track to exceed the rest of the grand. Its a different type of asphalt than at Road Atlanta or Barber, street tires (Rivals) are really "talky" - it took me half a stint to realize there was more in the tires and that the surface was making them sing.
If this was before our next race in June we would probably shake down the Chump Car, oh well! Have fun out there, I'm interested to see what kind of times the Cobalts will put down.
