Koni rears
I bought a used rear set of Koni's off the forums here and I was wondering what a decent initial dampening setting would be for autocross. Running YYZ v.5 with TC Cobalt struts in front, for now anyway. Also running front 24mm bar I think with Powell hardcore rear.

Alright so today I was messing around with the damper settings and noticed something strange. I assumed if I set both shocks on the same damper setting I could compress them and they should extend back out at the same rate. What actually happened was they were different and the only way I could get them to match up was by adjusting one all the way pretty much soft and the other one all the way stiff. I know the spring force in these cylinders is nothing compared to the springs on the car so I am assuming my little experiment isn't really useful but I thought I would ask on here to make sure. I hate buying used parts but I figured Konis are quality and it was an opportunity to save a bit of money.
