Got some Goodridge stainless lines this week for my lsj and they seem to be well made pieces, so the clutch line should be good. Only issue I had was the banjo bolts provided were no where close to the right thread, and the rear lines are pretty deep so the nuts have to be threaded allllllll the way in to clamp the line in there. Thank god they weren't any rustier otherwise I'd have burnt it to the ground. Easily the worst job I've done on one of these cars haha

Ordered the line through Northern Performance in Burlington. Will keep you guys posted if the part is any good.

Anybody know where to scoop up a K04 in the GTA? I think mine might be starting to go.

Today is gonna be beauty! I might even be down for a meet tonight! Hopefully the local coin-op isn't as rammed as it was yesterday. Line of at least 10 cars yesterday, just terrible.

Lol I don't think I would make it today, can we do next week as our spring meet up? That will give people some time for a clean up and maybe enough time to throw on my new brakes too

Not that I have to explain myself to anyone but I wanted to put new plugs in late last year and 2 were uncomfortably tight. If I broke the plug here at my house I'm kinda F'd. I had them put my new tires on for me in Sept/Oct ish last year before putting it away for they year and noticed a slow leak over the winter in my garage so I had them fix that. For ***** and giggles I priced out new brakes all around and 2 new rear calipers as my are seized to **** while I was there. So they fixed my tire, replaced my plugs and changed my oil for me. There are several cobalt owners working at the dealership, I like the guys and trust them.

I think the total for the brakes was roughly 1400 before taxes for the oem replacements through the dealership. I have a good friend who helps me out on parts and got it down under $1000, and I'm hoping to get those done this week before we meet up Sunday evening.

We met up and left for Krispy Kreme about 820, I was hoping you would show up. I'm going to have to grab your number again, thought we exchanged them last year. Cmon out next week Subaru Steve!

Got me a new K04 from mongorat. Will be putting it in this weekend.

I hereby put forth the notion of meeting on Saturday instead. I assume most of us work Monday's after.

We have been doing Sunday night meets since the beginning, and I start work at 630 every morning. The reason Saturday doesn't work is because with the warm weather people go places, camping, the cottage and nobody would show up. Saturday night is for going out, getting hammered and having a good time so you can have a recovery day Sunday and come out in the evening and talk cars and hang out with some guys. Nothing says you have to stay late...... what time do you start work?

With an hour drive to get there, I won't be a regular. But I do intend to make the trek a few times this summer.
Might be a month or two before I do it, but I'm good with Sunday, as I work nights (monday-thursday 2:30pm-2am)

I'm going to try to make it out to at least one before the car gets wrapped at end of June

Yeah that's a fair enough point.

I know this has nothing to do with the timmies meets but would anyone want to help me swap a rear axle in the near future?
