Troof!!!! I'll probably swindle down to the states to get some more E85 before this changes. It'll still out weight the dollar hard right now.

3rd gear. well they warm up the same. but my trans was on its way already, was leaking and first and reverse was hard to get into already. I'm working out a deal with powell. he has a new lsj trans....which gm is apparently making again. we shall see how that fairs.

Blue let me know what u find. price, kms on the trans, make sure its lsd.

That sucks, are you going to have Powell cryo treat it? I saw ced had some lsj new trans on their web sight and wondered if gm had made a few since they are in demand. They aren't cheap brand new. 4.05 will work well for you.

Powell told me Gm started making them again yes. I had a short convo with him, gonna get back to me on Monday, it will be less than 3k for a brand new one, we are working something out. I'll talk to him about what all he can do to make it stronger. Rebuilding mine would cost 2k. I'm a little scared of getting a Used one cause u don't know what it's been through. If I was totally stock that be fine, but I'm pretty far from stock already lol. I'm gonna dial it back a bit and leave it alone. My problem was I recently upped my timing to 17 degrees after I fixed my meth leak, and butt dyno and based on the wheel spin I was getting and the torque stear , I'm thinking I picked up a lot of power. She just couldn't take it. And I guess it doesn't help when u hit a bump and ur wheels spin like crazy then u suddenly hit traction. Can't be very good on the gear .

Impacts under load are the biggest problem. If you get a 4.05 new you probably don't need to dial it back.

3k is reasonable for brand new. Re manufactured 3.86 with LSD is like 4Kusd on ced.

True. Depending on the trans cost the kit for it would be about 2500can plus shipping right now. So if you can get a trans locally it might be worth it. Only a few hundred more for allot more trans.

Oh really? I thought they used the same axles. Just one was shorter or something. They must make upgraded axels for the f23
