Pretty sure it runs on bushings and they wear. Mine's been making noise for years.

Check your cabin filter. Mine got way quieter after I put a clean one in.

Well that sucks, but kind of relieving. If it was just my car doing it I would be continually tearing it apart trying to solve it.

Now that I think of it I can kind of remember my dads sunfire doing it too. I think the sunfire gt i drove did it intermittently.

Ya know the saying a Harley motorcycle is broken if it isn't leaking oil. Well a GM is broken if the fan isn't making horrendous noises lol

Blower motor? You just cut it out with a box cutter and use self tapping screws with a bezel to hold in the new one.

How are the Canadians doing?! I moved into my own place a few weeks ago and haven't got my internet hooked up yet, so I haven't been able to get on much lately. And whenever I'm at work I don't have much forum time lol

Think everyone has Winter depression.

Been running regular in my car for the Winter. I idle a lot and my mileage doesn't really get affected, Plus it pulls enough timing I don't get knock.

Anyway I put a tank of 91 in just cause. It's a night and day difference. Biggest thing I noticed was the throttle response. 87 feels like the pedal is attached by an elastic band.

Would there be a similar noticeable increase going to 94? I've never actually tried 94 yet, despite always working at Husky sites. Figured it wouldn't be enough of a difference from Shell without a tune to bother.

Oh ya!! Like a min gain of 3* timing!! On my R holding 25psi to 6500 I ran 15*!! on 91 will 21psi I get around 12*

On stock tune I doubt it.

Stock tune you won't see a difference. Definitely between 87-91 as the computer on the stock tune has two different timing maps. 91-94 would be the same timing map thoigh so the difference would be negligible. Unless your getting knock I wouldn't bother

LSJs have the 2 maps LNFs don't.

Ps like taylor says nobuddy gots time for stock tunes!!

Well seeing as the 1st day of spring is only 19 days away. Gotta start figureing out issues from end of season last year. Gotta figure out how to stop my meth leaking. the solenoid for the meth is whats leaking where the hose goes in. the fitting is one of those pressing fittings, the hose is one of those nylon tubing. Thoughts? any other fitting work with the nylon tubing should i try for a straighter shot for the hose into the fitting as it kinda pulls to one side a bit. Thoughts?

Also gotta figure out some summer tires. Dustin? Still thinking of selling the yoko's?

There really should be no reason for it to be leaking unless the hose was on a good angle and pulling on the quick connect. Perhaps try a more straight shot at the fitting.

That's a good question I'm not really sure what I'm doing for tires yet lol.

I'm probably gonna get a set of Nankang NS-2R. They're a DOT approved summer comp tire for not too much.

They come in two different treadware ratings. 120 and 180. 235/40/18 is $133.
