^this and when i was back home in cali my cousin and dad had dealership problems and being a technician for 7 years before joining up i new all the dealer games and when they would break down to a new level.
things i can recommend for you would be contact the Bureau of Automotive Repair(BAR) Bureau of Automotive Repair, State of California, Dept. of Consumer Affairs i know this is a cali link but maybe there is something similar to it where your at.
dealerships hate it when they get involved because it publicaly stains their dealership and gets The big boys in the NA Regional Divisions attention.
Also, as stated keep all records of appointments and what went down on paper. if you still have proof of the truck being cleared that is money on that subject. and as far as the work done leave the work un-touched for inspection by outside sources, keep the proof of charges on new purchase, and lawyer up and the dealer will for sure start shitting their pants.
and last involve the regional management after you have initiated the lawyer process they tend to expedite the situation double or tripple the speed of no actions taken on your behalf. calmly i repeat calmly inform regional whats going on and how you were treated in a long and involved email or phone conversation(phones tend to be better for me. make sure to record call time length and personel you contacted) and things should start to shift in your favor.
hope you win bro you def deserve some more respect as a customer not doing anything wrong in the first place. those two dealerships need to be ****** reorganized management wise, or better yet a full on internal investigation from the regional directors staff.

How about you get some military buds to hang out near the entrance of the dealership in fatigues with a huge sign that says, "This Mitsubishi Dealership Rips Off Our Troops". I'm betting they couldn't stand a couple days of that without caving. And if they try to kick the protest out from their entrance, then it'll be one sweet news story!

Just so our southern folks know, Its Canada. You cant just go sue someone for millions because of this.
They fucked you, but every dealership does, Just some act like their your friends.

dude, that's some crazy crap...
you're not giving legitimate reason for other albertians to knock Edmonton are you?
I'd say go to corporate mitzu ~ the other dealer is only implicated because of (I'd guess) same owner...
eitehr way, you busted the GM as a liar, and about his story changing, as well as finding out actually what happened - the only next move you could possibly do is bring it to the media, or track down your SRT-10's current owner to get the straight scoop from his side of the transaction.

why are you worried if your not going to get them to re do the 3m anyways. they cant come after you for the truck, it is an as is where is trade.
just walk away from the situation, its not worth the fight for a 3m job
the fact of the matter is you can issue a complaint with mitsu, get a lwayer to get new 3m done, but at the end of the day it will end up costing you more to fight it, and mitsu will just send a letter to you apoligizing for the issue ( standards letter every car maker has)
like anything too i imagine the dealership has a different interpratation of the story, hope u have another dealer that you can take the car to for service but i thought i remeber when u bought the car that u had a fight with that dealer too

Maybe I have no idea what im talking about, but the FIRST thing I would do is STOP dicking around at the dealerships. That's like complaining to the manager at a McDonalds you found a tampon in your burger.
Right then and there, I would escalate it far beyond the manager or GM of the dealership. There are thousands of dealerships and they are ran as such. They are there own little world and do not reflect the intentions of the entire company.
When I got my IC replacement refused at my dealership, I went straight to GM. Didnt bother arguing, threating, driving back there, talking to 5 different people. I phoned GM and said, this is bullshit - fix it.

i know this is dead thread, but i myself have had some horrendous dealings with northside, they seem to have cleaned there act up, other than their ridicolous shop fees, atleast they clean the mess under the car, unlike before
i filed a complaint with mitsu canada, and i do know they were dealt with as i received a written letter from them appologizing about the terrible service and they were going to smooth things out

I work for a car dealership. Ive seen terrible things....terrible things.
Mainly done by GM/FI manager and always authorized by the owner, wont go into details but you just can never trust car dealerships, ever.
DONT buy F/I products, or aftermarkets warranties either, the loopholes are like moon craters.
Good luck with everything man.
