I need tune!

I would like to tune my car. My car is completely stock,
2.4 Auto 2006.

How much would it cost!?

And where could I find a guy to tune it?

best bet IMO is to try and find a trifecta dealer around you

Eh, that really depends on the guy. There are some on here who have no idea what they are talking about.

^ exactly!

but bone stock you'd probably expect a 5-8 hp gain depending on the nature of the tune

OK PEOPLE BACK ON TOPIC!

I just got a quote from the performance shop here on an exhaust!

$826 For the Magna flow 2.5
$100 To install
Is this a good price?
I was thinking because I have a budget could I get the K&N filter replacement for the stock air box filter?

The K&N replace ment is $50

I think you mean header.. If your all stock a tune is going to be a waste of money. You probably won't even notice the difference but you'll be out $250.

That is what my boyfriend just said to me.. LOL......

He told me to get exhaust and K&N replacement filter ... instead of the K&N CIA because of the budget,

I'd suggest getting a header/Downpipe/Exhaust all at the same time. that way your either paying 1 install price or if you do it yourself, your only under your car once

Make your boufriend do the install on the exhaust. It's like a 2/10 on a difficulty scale. Honestly for an exhaust you could have a muffler shop bend you what you need and then buy your own muffler to have put on and you would probably save $300-400.

k&n is good but i have a GMPP catback and i love it, there like 550 from www.crateenginedepot.com because magnaflow is way over- priced in my opinion. other than that i would just get a ZZP 2.5 catted DP because a header won't really benefit you much

edit: i agree with superbalt06 too, i installed my exhaust in my garage on jack stands

ZZPerformance - Go Fast... Not Broke
and turbotechracing.com

They all have good products. I hear that badmab has a good header and a vibrant header and downpipe is good as well
