Wow, lots of Cobalts being sold. Good luck to all. Other than Cobalt_daddy, anyone has future plans for a replacement?

I saw a black SS yesterday on Joseph Howe sometime before noon.

Long time no post from me!!

I keep seeing the lsj with the enkei's everywhere around dartmouth.

Spotted a black lsj at Starbucks in the crossing, the front lower grille was painted red uhhhh yuck.

Me and @shaunDRZ are going to pugwash on Sunday or Monday to check out a lnf for HIM (cry) the guy is willing to trade it for Shaun's lsj plus 3-3500 cash so we shall see

Me and @shaunDRZ talked to the owner of a red lsj with a half cracked off front lip and black PAINTED on eyelids. Some memorable quotes from him were

"cams and pistons" "idles perfect" "28psi" "upgraded 3.1 pulley" (looked 100% stock)
"Yeah it was dyno'd at 310whp"

nice bar! and as for the quotes.. lol does he realize the bigger pulley makes less power? haha also.. haven't seen an M62 push 28psi before hahaha

if i make it out to another meet we'll look for him and see how his "310whp" does against my 268whp haha

congrats! I agree, a rear bar is one of the best mods for this car. I got a TTR one when I had the Cobalt because I couldn't afford a Powell and it made the car drive much better. any more plans for the car this summer?

Nothing too extensive. I really want coilovers, but I should probably save my money. The rest of the summer will include painting my brembos gold and maybe getting gold lug nuts to match too. Also thinking of doing a 5mm spacer on all of the wheels. Other than that I have front H&R springs that I've been neglecting to put on- (the rear is H&R and the front is CM) - I really should probably try and tackle this sometime this weekend.

Have you done anything to the Boss this summer?

haha well it depends on how long you are planning on keeping the car. most people I talk to say save for coilovers if you are keeping the car for a few years because you will probably end up doing it anyway. if you already have springs, it may be best to save up lol. let me know if you need a hand installing. I'm very busy the next two weekends but if you end up pushing it that far, let me know and I may be able to give you a hand.

yea, a Ford Racing Boss 302R steering rack and a Saleen front grille plus I have a set of Michelin PSS that's waiting to be installed that I am very excited to try!

No plans to sell the car in the forseeable future, but the plan is to soon start adding another car or two as I'm about to graduate University. I bet those tires will be kick ass.
