dual exhaust
so i went to butch exhaust the other day, and i asked him about a custom dual exhaust and he looked at it and said that it would fit, that things would have to be rerouted before he could get the pipe in, has anyone else had that problem? i found it strange since they sell full bolt on dual exhaust kits like the loudmouth, inputs please?

dont see why there should be any re routes of anything...atleast not for the SCs...dont know about the unders of TCs...but then again...loudmouth only made a dual outlet exhaust for SCs only...
what do you drive?

well...you can always go to that place that sells the loudmouth exhaust and mention the loudmouth dual outlet design which doesnt require rerouting anything...and go from there...

but thats just a flange, that shouldnt really force me to reroute things so i can fit a dual exhaust in there. he said that the fuel line is too close and the brake line is too close as well.

It splits around where the bend would normally be.. its literally almost mirrored from the regular cat back... just on the other side.

i mean sure it looks cool i guess. but in all honest a dual axhaust is completly pointless for a cobalt. but no you do no need to reroute anything. i have a TC and i was gonna get it done until i found out it would be completly pointless. so you need to go back and mention loudmouth to them and maybe show them some pix... if they still cant help after that telll them your going somewhere else. and if that dont work. you really need to go somewhere else lol

I've thought about the Dual Exhaust too. And for those who wonder why anyone would want it, I like the idea because it gives a symmetrical look at the back. the single exhaust looks kinda... Lopsided...
Obviously it has no performance purpose, but with the TC the more open you can make the exhaust the better, sooo that would be argued it has SOME benefit. Not much.
