Thumbs down Eibach sway baars

I ordered a set of Eibach sway bays front and rear for my '06 Cobalt SS SC part number 3899.320 These are advertised as being a 25 mm rear and a 29mm front. The ones I got were both 25mm bars. When I called Eibach, the response from the company was that they needed me to take a picture and send it to them. Once I sent the photo, rather than them saying I am sorry, the product was mislabeled as I thought it had been. I was suddenly told that their R&D department had made a change to the bar due to clearance issues and now they are both being designed using 25mm bars. According to the sales guy ""mark" and sales manager "Able", the 29mm bar has not been available for quite a long time and it just had mistakenly not been updated in their system. I do not know how this is possible. I can guarantee I am not the only person who has ordered these bars since the change was made, especially since he said the change was made quite a while ago. I think I was given a bunch of BS as I can not see how it is possible for these changes to have been made and I am the first person to have received a smaller bar and noticed it/ What has nobody else called when they received the wrong bar size. So anyone that is ordering the eibach 3899.320 sway bars, you had better measure what you get and know that you will not be getting what you thought you had paid for

ehh doesn't matter much for the front bar anyway, just be glad it fits with no issues. front bars are useless since our struts are on the firewall.

umm, yeah our front struts are connected to the strut tower, not the firewall and front bars do matter. Try removing yours and driving then see what a difference it makes. More importantly what matter is correct advertisement of what you are ordering. IE getting what it says a 29mm bar if advertised as 29mm

then return it or tell them to change it idk lol

still. 4mm on a front bar will do nothing essentially; its the rear bars that matter with these cars

I think he is talking aout lower SWAY bar... not the strut bar.

But to the OP... that is pretty weak... you thought you were getting a 29mm bar and got a 25mm.... id send it back... and find another supplier.

Okay, part update. After speaking further with Summit Racing I have found that the 29mm front bar was discontinued well over 2 years ago. I
wonder just how many people think they have or are selling a 29mm bar as all over that is what it is advertised as being. After having several different companies pull stock and take measurements, everyone had a 25mm front bar to their shock and dismay.
