Issue with BADMAB

Dear BADMAB Industries,

On May 26 2014 I shipped you my header for my 07 Cobalt SS/SC, it arrived at your place of business on June 6 2014. I sent it back for warranty due to numerous cracks around all the welds. As per your warranty claim instructions I enclosed a letter describing what the issue is and even marked all the cracks with a marker.

After it arrived I did not receive any communication from you about it. I have emailed you a few times with only one response which stated " hi mike what was the issue?" (despite the fact I enclosed a letter describing the issues ). It has now been over a month since you received my header and I have heard nothing about what is going on with it, if your repairing it, replacing it, denying the warranty, if its already been shipped, or what.

So whats the scoop? Just give me some communication please!

Thanks

good luck. i never received an email back after 2 resent emails about my header being cracked. i was told from brad at badmab that i would have to show proof of purchase. i guess just sending in the header wasnt enough, because i told him i no longer have a receipt and deleted the confirmation email. needless to say, i never got any correspondence back from him and have been rocking a stock header since.

if i wasnt so busy, id just take it to a shop here and get it rewelded, but just havent had time.

I sent proof of purchase as well as a detailed letter. It was Brad who contacted me as well. If anyone has a phone number for bad mab let me know.

why does everyone look too zzp when it comes to a long tube? seems to me there is better headers then zzp. maybe have a look at the competitors header. I am sure you will be much happier with a ottp product.

Ported stock manifold is the way to go IMO, over any shorty header. Same gains, no cracks or leaks.

The only downfall about OTTP's is they are made upon request so you may wait a while for one.

Yup I had no problem with my OTTP long tube. The bung holes for the 02 sensor and wideband were in a brutal spot of you have to change them in car though. Hated that.
