Issues with OTTP

On February 14, 2014, I ordered several parts from Over the Top Performance. It took until March 27 to finally receive the parts, and it was very difficult to get through at the company to speak to anyone about where the parts were. After looking at my parts, I realized I was missing the bottom pipe of the hot side intercooler piping and almost all of my couplers. On April 3, I called OTTP to let them know the parts were missing. They told me the parts were out of stock, and should be at my door within two weeks. After waiting week after week being told it'll be two more weeks and not receiving parts they stopped returning or answering any calls or emails. The last contact my wife or I have been able to make with the company about this issue was on May 9 when my wife got an email from Josh that the parts were in. My wife has sent emails several times a week and left multiple voicemails (I was in the field for training and not able to handle it). they refuses to answer our calls or emails, and told me the only way I would get my $300 back for that kit would be if I returned the pipes I had received, but that I would also have to pay for shipping again. Now it is the end of May, and I'm still waiting...

Unfortunately it is. I'm debating if I should just buy a kit from zzp and call it a day I just hate paying for things twice.

To me it's not worth it, I'd rather help out an innovator like Powell or go with ZZP for a little more when they've done more and are very reliable.

Cory I responded in the other thread also. We are waiting on the supplier to ship them still. I tried to have one drop shipped to you but I can't even get that done. How about I send you a free set of rotated trans mounts for the time being and when that pipe gets here I will send it your way?

You can send them if you want but I highly doubt you will ever have anymore business from me.

If it's not going to help or solve the problem lets try this. Send the parts back and I will refund the price paid for them and for ground shipping to return them.

So you complain that you aren't getting service, the vendor is working to try and help you, offers you FREE parts for your wait, and is still making every effort to get you what you want and you respond like this?

Sounds like your one of those impossible to please people and that the issue is with you. Suppliers have suppliers that have suppliers; welcome to the world of logistics.

I am a very reasonable person and the fact is it is too late to regain me as a customer josh has lied every time we have talked. And a pair of rotated trans mounts will fix the situation that exists. Josh the parts will be in the mail back to you this week.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. Here are the two options, keep the product and wait for the extra pipe to come in, I'll send you the mounts for your trouble. Or send back the product and I will pay shipping, no mounts sent. Let me know which option you would like.

All I can say on all this is that we are in a niche performance market and a rather small one at that. Vendors are typically small shops that can't just call up a manufacture and demand a production run for the parts to be made. So waiting a month or so isn't really that long of a wait if the parts have to be made, even a 3 or 4 month wait can be "reasonable" for certain odd ball parts. The only complaint I see in this story is the lack of response to phone/emails that can also be at least partly understandable for a small shop. Not confidence inspiring to be sure, but in this age of internet businesses it is becoming more and more common. Now, I haven't done any business with OTTP so I'm speaking in general.

I Purchased a stage 4 kit from OTTP and got it within the same week. Josh has also helped immensely by getting me a base tune and the car driveable. You only ear about bad experiences usually not good ones.

Not at this point.
If some one makes a thread about bad service I am doing all of my communicating through that thread. I want everyone that sees the complaint see what I am doing about it.
