14.05 1/4 mile a good time for G85 with Stage 2?

Went to the track last night, best time was a 14.05 @ 101mph with a 2.2 sixty foot.

Is that pretty much what I should be running with the G85 and stage 2?

Sounds decent. You could probably turn a little better with some more practice. All we have downsouth where I'm stationed is 1/8 mile tracks and I ran a 9.2 with Stage 2, intake, and exhaust. Do you have the 1/8 times on your slip?

Thats a pretty good run. I think you could be at 13.9-14.00 with some practice.

101 trap speeds are good for 13.8/9 with a decent launch improve on your 60fts and shift as fast as you can........

damn good times.

cant wait till all this heat in phoenix goes away so I can go back to the track. Temps are still hitting 105+ here and the nights are still in the high 90's ... it's cooling down but still not cool enough

i was running 9.2 in the 1/8 when i was stock. you should definitely be in the 8's with those mods.

also, a 14.05 is not bad at all, but i think that a 13.8 is attainable and a 13.9 should be in the bag for you. good run

I would agree your 13 material right there. I know here you need a helmet if you run those kinda times dunno about where you are but I would look into it unless you wanna be kicked out for getting your first 13.

yeah in TX i think you have to run an 11.99 or faster before you have to where a helmet. i could be 12.99 though, im not completely possitive.

It was my second time at the track with the car. The first time the car snapped an axle at the 60ft mark on the first run. I was very cautious on my launches needless to say the second time. I was cutting horrible lights (.5XX), my 60' were 2.2's, and my shifter is still messed up, so 3rd gear is a bitch to get into. When I get back to the states, I'm ordering a new shifter assembly to start and a ton of other parts to hopefully get into the 7's.

+1. Put a 2.8" pulley on and you should be in the 13s easily!

Yeah, I hear that. I was just emphasizing how rough my driving was that night.
My buddy in his turbo'd CRX was killing me off the line, but I'd reel him back in and finish ahead by the time we crossed the line. I definatley need a lot more practice drag racing, that is for sure!

By the way all I didn't have the 2.8" pulley or downpipe when I was at the track the last time.

my best was a 14.39 @99mph with a 2.34 60'....first time ever at track...so depending on how much practice you've had....that's pretty good
