So I have an exedy stage 2 3 puck clutch with a fidanza 8.5lb flywheel and new throw out bearing/slave cylinder. It seems like the clutch isn't disengaging all the way and I have to pump the clutch a few times for it to go into gear. Also, the disengagement point is at the very bottom of the pedal. The point lowered when I put the clutch in, but it did come back to the top eventually. Now I put the flywheel and tob in, and it's ridiculous. The rod in the slave is not bent either. It's at the point where it's ridiculous and pissing me off. What could it be?

So you put the clutch in and let it alone and it gradually got better and then you put the flywheel and tob and it got worse?

That's exactly what happened. It's to the point where it's almost undriveable.

Anyone have any input? I know it's Easter and all, but I need this resolved ASAP. It's my daily, and only car.

Could possibly have air in the system. Thos tob/slave cylinders are a pita to bleed. Fluid level is good? No leaks? Mine was leaking and had a crap ton of air in it and it did the same thing. Even got stuck in gear.

I've bled it for a total of about an hour and a half. Fluid is slap full. It's so irritating and I have no idea what could be wrong. Though about having it vacuum bled.

Ok. Replaced the clutch master cylinder and bled the **** out of it. Still not disengaging completely. I'm thinking the tob is not as close to the pressure plate as it should be.

Have you tried power bleeding it?

I've had several hipo clutches in my car, and truthfully, there was ALWAYS air. I had to craft my own power bleeder to get it all out.

Yeah you need to power bleed it. I dont have a way to do that so I take it to a shop to be bled. Same with abs in order to bleed abs on some cars you gotta do that.

I've power bled it, vacuum bled it, reverse bled it, pumped the clutch pedal 300+ times, etc. nowhere near better. This problem is going to cause me to sell the damn car and go back to honda.

I had my stock clutch replaced and it will grind if you just press the pedal down and put it into reverse.

It's not grinding. It will not go into gear. It kinda works in the morning, but in the afternoon, I have to turn my car off, put it I'm first gear, then start it again so it'll actually go into gear. The pedal is spongy, and not as hard as it used to be with that same clutch. I'm thinking because I didn't bench bleed the slave, there's a ton of air in it. The brake fluid is literally foaming up even though I've bled the t-total **** out of it.

Replaced the tob/slave yet again and even bench bled it and shimmed the tob. Still won't disengage. I'm thinking it's the flywheel.
