Personally, I wouldn't mind them 1-4. But i'm also a car addict and don't care about drivability or noise, or anything for that matter. If it makes me quicker i'm all for it
Ok great thanks

I had a DSM AWD stage 3 trans with upgraded 3-4 synchros and Evo 1 st gear for my 90 Talon AWD
Never had a problem out of it and it worked up to the day I sold it when I decided to sell my car.
So I hope this comes through for you.
But not to rain on this great thread, but this is a Cobalt community, good luck trying to get people to commit to anything and then following through with it.
We have seen this same song played over and over, a bunch people say they want it and only a few commit when the time comes for fear of being the guinea pig.
They all want someone else to try it out first.

People who own cobalts are no cheaper than DSM guys. My buddy has a fully built 2g gsx and won't spend the extra 1k or so for a nice t3 turbo and manifold. Still runs the evo 3 and makes as much power as he used to? I don't get it. There are only a few who will ever pony up and shell out the cash for quality parts but those few will go fast in the end. This is true, but that is why i'm sending MY transmission out there, paying for the first gear set MYSELF, testing it with MY own labor hours, and MY own tools. haha No, but I see what your saying bud, which is why i need at least 75 people or more on the "interested" list.

This is true but me and at least 15 other guys with high HP have no choice the transmission just wont hold the power for any length of time its a ticking bomb. Some of these guys are on 4th and 5th transmissions so they would be stupid not to upgrade. Now with all these guys running e85 i think we are gonna see alot of blown transmissions I would be happy if it could hold 600whp reliably and i plan on getting the ZZp short block to make it bullet proof.

I'm definately interested to see how this goes. The only thing holding me back from putting on a bigger turbo on my car is the trans. I can't commit to being one of the first to buy the gearset if it does go through because I just purchased my first house and money is a little bit tighter now.
