KY Clutch - Official Release!
#102
Please read back a few pages...
It was already stated, no company offers a true full face disc for a stage 3... It is a full steel disc with pads on it, just like a puck design... (Some call it full face, but it is not really any more than a puck disc) There is nothing wrong with puck discs, they have proven out extreamely well on the KY kits!
Reason being is clamp force, and a full face disc would never hold the power (torque). Read also the "KY Clutch - interest thread" it will explain even more on discs.

Originals were sach pressure plates (like south bends) they did have a couple issues, they upgraded the pressure plate brand and never any issues.
Further more those early kits are not the same kits we are selling now.

Don't complain if you have not contacted them. If you have issues CALL them. They will take care of you.

I'm not saying your a bad company. Your a GREAT company. I'm telling you my issues. Also I would contact them but from what I'm understanding they want you to send your clutch in before they send you a replacement. So I'll have to pay to take it out and pay to put another back in and not have my car for awhile. I may just order one from you later. 400-500 is cheap for a clutch anyways. I would just recommend to everyone to order the Throwout Bearing with it. Mise well since its a cheap part.

I dont know a single person that never replaced the TOB when they do a clutch... Sounds like it could have failed, causing the clutch to fail... That is why you replace those things...
We also asked that you take this to a PM, so we can assist you; even though your kit is not what we are selling here, nor did we have any involvment in the sale. Please dont plug up our thread with these posts.
Now, moving on... We have 2 more kits shipping out today. A stage 1 and a stage 3!
