Losing pressure in clutch at WOT

Losing pressure in clutch at WOT
Let me paint the picture. This will only happen on a 3rd and 4th gear pull when there is more strain on the trans. I can do a WOT pull starting in 3rd. At about 5k if you leave your foot resting on the clutch pedal you can feel the pedal sink to the floor all the way to 7k when its time to shift. By the the pedal is stuck to the floor with no pressure. Once you pump it 2 or 3 times you are good to shift into 4th. Same thing when going from 4th to 5th. It will not do this in 2nd. It only does this at WOT, normal driving to about 80% throttle its fine. Any ideas? Pressure plate, throwout bearing? Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. Ill also mention the car is a high 400whp/tq on a 4 puck clutch.

Personally when replacing the TOB/Slave Cylinder I would replace the Master at the same time.
This might be a rhetorical question.. But did you bleed the clutch after installing the new TOB?

Your foot shouldn't ever rest on the clutch except the split second before you shift or holding for a hill.
If you press the clutch in without resting on it does it shift fine?

Anyways everything has been replaced now, minus the adjustable clutch rod from zzp which will be ordered next week. If that dont fix it, then who knows what else it could be. And the system got reblead like twice. Someone mentioned synchros but I have never been able to feel synchros in my clutch pedal.
If this doesnt fix the problem then Im selling the car. Anyone want a high 400hp cobalt?????

"hovering" over the clutch is a super no no. But you already know that right..
Throwing money at a problem doesn't always fix it. Have the master checked before you go and spend more money on parts that aren't needed.

But how would you expect me to tell everyone what the clutch did? You think I was gonna do a third gear pull from 60 to 115ish while looking at my clutch pedal and describe what it did???? be forreal the car doesnt go straight lol. Resting my foot on the clutch pedal so I can feel my clutch sink to the floor through a hard pull was the best way to describe the issue. So Im sure hovering over my clutch pedal for a pull isnt going to hurt anything.

Alright bringing this issue back up cuse it still isnt fixed. I have replaced.... EVERYTHING. still losing clutch pressure. There has to be air getting in the lines somewhere. I talked to a guy with a mazda which I guess has the same style setup as us when it comes to the clutch pedal being tied into the brakes somehow. He is telling me to replace the selonoid on the brake booster line. Any thoughts to that?

I finally said screw it and took it to a different shop. The first shop that first replaced the slave cracked an oring where the line going from the master to the slave goes into the trans housing. So that's why everytime we tried something there was still air in the lines. The shop also forgot to place two bolts back into the top of the trans housing and left another bolt halfway out. Not to mention they over tightened the fuse boxes under the hood so the plastic broke and there is not a good connection so my lights and other things will turn on and off. (they did replace that)
Anyways with it leaking, it was leaking inside the trans housing all over my clutch which ended up being soaked in dot3. All parts are on order and should be in Monday. Hopefully I have a brand new feeling car again lol.
