Shifter cable/Roll pin ???
I have an 06 SS/SC almots 90,000 miles. I have been looking on the forum and I cant fine an anwser. My 2ed, 4th, and rev gears are gone. I was shifting kinda hard into 2ed gear and it went lemp and just reved. 1st, 3ed, and 5th are all fine. I have seen people say its the Shift linkage, Shift cable and roll pin. Which one is it? I brought it to the dealership they didnt even look at it and said shift cable. I really dont want to spend $300 on a new shifter cable if its only a roll pin. Thanks for any help

I doubt it's a roll pin. I lost my second, fourth, and reverse and it was a broken shifter cable.
Right underneath the fuse box, the shifter cables connect. Check to see if it has play in it, or a piece came loose there. It's not easy to move back and forth with your hand, and if it does, probably need to replace them.

My pass side cable when trying to shift in and out of gear must be over extending or something, is hitting my drivers side top transmission mount.
Any input on what it may be before I order parts and tear apart? Pins cables?
