Old thread, brought back to life.

Took me two hours to find the last bolt on my 2006 Cobalt LT with 2.2 motor.

NINE bolts in all through motor to tranny.
Marked them with a black X in photo.
I could not have done this without taking the exhaust manifold off.

^ I believe if its a auto it has more bolts that hold the trans to the block.

Cant figure out how many bolts hold the transmission to the engine. I have an 06 ss. 5-speed manual. Front wheel drive. 2.4. I found 6 bolts cant find the rest

Or the one under the t-stat housing? It screws in on the block side, not the transmission side.
