wheel bearing and cv joints
hi I been getting loud noises coming from the front end over 20mph and was told that it my wheel bearings
so I went pick up a new one wit another one coming tomorrow
well I started working on my driver side cuz that seem to be the worst as when i take a left turn noise levels out but my problem is when i took off the old one it pulled the cv joint out a lil bit and i want to know how do i put the damn thing back in I've been working on it an no luck nd cant seem to find answer on the web
ps sorry about the typing keyboard suck

is there suppose to be like a 1/4" space between cv joint and tranny cuz I can stick my finger into the gap that on the driver side the passenger side there is no gap it flesh up against each other where the driver sid it not cuz I"ve been pushing and pulling for 3 hours and no luckit wont move at all

Isn't there a ring on the end of the CV joint and a corresponding groove in the transmission? Its tricky but like the man said...it can be done you just have to have the right touch..most importantly use a deadblow hammer if you'regonna beat on it..not a mini sledge
