K04+ Dyno Results

Full Bolt-ons, Stock Turbo and Trifecta Tune, constant 25psi

K04+, Full-Bolt-ons, HP Tuners, 93 Pump, 3bar map, Conservative Tune, 24psi spike to 21psi

I'm happy with the results as I don't want to hit the 400hp mark until the engine is replaced.

Nice gains! Now why cant someone post a info like this about the K04FTW? id pay $595 for a dyno increase like this one. And you running less boost too! Imagine cranking that a bit...Did your tuner say if there was any more room for boost/timing? hitting 400whp on this turbo?

The turbo isn't going to hit 400. It will get close with some cams and e85 but he a on 93. The wheel in the k04ftw is bigger and they will see issues with power up top. It will make more power then the k04+ is my guess but don't expect to keep making power passed 6600. The compressor housing is too small to flow the amount of air the compressor wheel can put out. We went through that with our precision based wr2 turbo and that's why we stopped producing them with the k04 compressor housing and went to the precision housing that's properly sized. The turbo was capable of making over 410whp with the small housing but wouldn't sustain or gain power passed 6600. It was just being choked. Put the bigger housing and no problem.

Dilly glad to see your still happy with your car and tune.

My car was there in September. It's been a while since I posted. I was told by Dave that with cams and e-85, 400 would be about right. Much more than 400, would be a problem.

Impressive! Especially the way it holds power up top compared to the stock k04.

Vast proof on my car? My car ran solid on every setup I had, from 93 to e85. He has alot of LNF Solstice and Sky out there running strong also. If you have proof please share. I'm not saying that you don't but I just haven't heard any issues, but like I said I'm not saying their hasn't been people with issues.

I'm pretty calm, I don't own my Cobalt anymore so could honestly care less.

All I was saying is that please show proof, especially since more and more people are takign their cars to him. It would be nice for people to know what to look for, that's all.
