At least I beat newt. And on a heart breaker mustang dyno. From the shops experience that would be 225-235 on the average dynojet.

2.2 Forced Induction

F/H/E/T/DU/60s/RS/2.8/HE/M62

PE mode engagement. I cant tune it, and the fact that I have a cat makes it look even worse on that afr chart.

On what dyno? If it was a dyno jet we would be about equal with me maybe, maybe a touch higher.

hmmm. Dynocomm makes both inertial and eddy current dynos. The inertial (like a dynojet) seem to read higher than dyno jets, the eddy current (like a mustang) seem to read similar to mustang but a tad higher. At least thats what I've seen from a quick internet search. I've already been offered by another dyno shop locally to do 3 more pulls for 75 bucks on they dyno jet, may do it this weekend.

Some of these charts are crazy, but why does they lose so much torque after 4500? Like 40-100 ft-lbs.

As hp goes up torque goes down, its the nature of it, since torque is the only real measurement, hp is just derived from a calculation of the torque. Take my graph for instance the boost maintains right at 30 psi, it does spike about 31ish. but say if I was able to slowly roll in the boost as the rpms go up the torque curve would be flatter but at the same rate the hp would be in the high 500 range instead of where its at. if thats makes any sense, it does in my head lo.

Some people consider a turbo properly sized for racing if it is able to hold the torque out about flat from the torque peak (which should happen just below your rpm window).

After the previously disappointing dyno on the mustang I got talked into going to the dynojet that just opened 15 minutes from my house. This puts me as the most hp with an m62 2.2 on stock cams.

2.2 Forced Induction 226hp/213lbft

F/H/E/T/DU/60s/RS/2.8/HE/M62

yeah. and the stock Ko4 is definitely not properly sized for what people are trying to do with them. when it falls off like that, its time for a slightly bigger turbo. no gobs of meth and backdoor ways of getting more power.
