Seeing no cooling mods in your sig, I'd say leave the 2.9" on and get some cooling first. Either way you go (TVS or 2.79" m62) you will need cooling. All you will do is create heat.

For sure a dual pass endplate will be next, I have another HE that I plan to run in parralell with the stock but it has been sitting in my garage for a year....I do have the 160 degree thermastat that helps out a bit.

How much timing could you run with that setup?

We just did a pretty quick tune to get everything going. I don't have meth (yet) and there's no E85 anywhere near here so that kills those 2. But as of right now 17*. I'm sure we can push more though. No knock yet.

How 'bout you?

I got 16.5* peak out of it. We didn't really spend a lot of time on the tune yet tho either! He's going to come back in the next couple weekends and get it smoothed out and try and squeak a lil more

the only thing in your sig is 3 pictures of a LSJ cobalt that I'm for SURE doesn't make that much tq on the stock M62 unless you have more mods than whats listed in your VB garage.

Hold on, I'll copy paste in my mods! But what's listed in my vb garage is all I have done.
NOS 50 Wet Shot, Cobra H/E, SMC Meth Inj, Stage 3 w/2.7" & 60# Injs,Cobalt Addiction CAI, Centerforce DFX Clutch And Flywheel, CA Ver 2 SS Header, and ZZP 2.5" catless Downpipe.

Hope that helps! Sorry just saw the 50 shot wasn't listed in my vb garage!
