Driver's side headlight not working (low beams)

Hey guys, acquired a new problem with the slowbalt, hoping for a relatively quick fix.

Ok, so here's the problem. My driver's side headlight will not work for any reason. The bulb isn't the problem (switched with passenger side), all of my fuses are ok, and it's all been disconnected and re-connected properly. I even replaced the entire assembly with another cobalt's headlight, and it still won't function.

The orange DRL is still working, the brights both work, but the low beam will not work. I've tried just about everything I know to try, so hopefully you guys can point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
Ian

if its a regular halogen bulb still, the filament for the low beam might be burnt out. had that problem once before. there's two coils in the light, one for the high beam, one for the low, if one looks like its broken in any way, its the bulb.

You know what, I just figured it out. The connector on the car side for the assembly has a pin that's broken. What's the best way to go about repairing that pin?

LOL. I ended up taking a tiny flathead and bending the pin so that it could come into contact with the assembly side, and BOOM it works now!

Hey man I'm running into the same problem, could you be more specific on what pin you're talking about? Maybe add pictures?

Thread revival much? lol here is pinouts of the connectors. all you need is a test light to see if you have voltage at the correct pins at the right time. also includeds wiring diagram.
