3 Bar Question

Hey all. I have a question about 3 bar- what is the purpose and what will I need for it? I drive an 05 cobalt ss/sc that is ZZP Stage 3. I have been told that I need to convert but have no idea what I will need to purchase/do to accomplish this. Any help will be appreciated!

You do not need them.

The 3 bar sensors are intended for the LNF when running boost above stock. Being that one bar is equal to roughly 14.5 psi, the 3 bar sensors will read up to about 43.5 psi but you have to keep in mind atmospheric pressure is nearly one bar or 14.5 psi so the 3 bar sensors are good til around 28-29 psi give or take. These sensors are needed only for tuning so that the computer is capable of reading how much boost you actually make. Stock sensors are 2.5 bar so read up to around 22-23 give or take and most tuned LNF's make more than this which is why they get swapped. However, an LSJ on a stock blower can't make enough boost to max out those sensors so there's no point in changing them. They do not give an increase in power. Sorry for the long response lol
