Is this cobalt a good deal?

Hey guys, I dont know if this is in the right section or not, but here goes. I was having major issues with my old balt and had moved to orlando, I was tired of trying to fix it and impulsively decided to trade it in for a 2013 4 door honda civic si. The si is white and has 19k miles. I owe 18k on it. It's a nice car and all, I just miss the balt so much. So I decided to start looking for an lnf, and I came across this beauty with 87k on it. It's about 2 hours away from me so I wanted to get opinions on it before I went and looked. It looks super clean. I checked the car fax and it's had 6 owners, so that's kinda sketching me out. Here the link, let me know what you guys think.

Looks pretty good, price isn't bad but it's a tad high, I got mine with 61k miles for 9.5k but totally different state so im sure prices are different. 6 owners is alot but best way would be for you to check it out and make sure everything is good to go, but from what we can see car looks clean

$9k is what its worth. Forget KBB or Edmunds its what people are willing to pay. 08-10 TC's with 80k+ are in the 4 digit price category.

6 owners, mods... Decreases value no matter what anyone says. That's why I was very careful buying my 2009 with 52k paid $10,500 (its an HHR which actually are more expensive most of the time) at a BMW dealer, a 35 yr old doctor owned it before and traded for a 135 Convertible. (weird)

Anyways, I modded it and I beat the crap out of it... Looking at it second hand I know that anyone 25 and young that owns one and mods it, isn't driving it like an old lady...

Thanks for the replies guys! I don't know if I have the upper hand or not, I'd be coming in with a car that I still owe 18k on, lol. I mean it doesn't hurt to check it out I guess. I got a little more information on it if you guys wanna look, it looks like the motor was replaced at 32k back in 2011. Other than that, everything looks like its been pretty decent. Some minor things, but its got 82k on it. Here's the link:

Yeah, but I'm curious why the engine was replaced lol. It obviously means the car was driven very hard.

Find a performance shop near by to get a leak down test performed. Make sure the transmission is smoothish going into each gear. I say smoothish because the F35 transmission sucks donkey dong and it isn't really ever smooth (compared to other cars)

Do you think they'd let me take it to get a leak down test? I just need something reliable while I'm going to school. Ya know?

I vote no. But we can tell from the way you type you are leaning towards it. This is not the car you want to buy used sorry. Red flags everywhere. If you MUST have take your time find an LNF that has been a 1 owner car and as little modded as possible.

I cant ever drive with the radio off, I scare myself into sweating with the noises the trans makes with stage 3 mounts. LOL sounds like theres no fluid in it when cold! No issues though shifts fine. Been told by many not to worry so much, oh ya and don't NLS every gear at the track.

The transmissions in these cars sound fragile lol. But I'd be sketched to NLS at all. Idk...
