line up 205 horses (head to ass or side by side, doesn't matter) next to an LSJ engine and tell me that.
also, those 0-60 times im thinking are done at a track and real world roads would often hold closer to what's tested in awd cars. if the 'balt does 0-60 in 6 seconds, chances are on the street it'll be a few tenths slower. rwd cars might spin a bit more too. but awd cars hook and go usually.

what do you mean by this?

and yes, awd does hook and go...but they are also heavy and slow...in my view. lol. of course, anything can be souped up.

id put money on an interceptor getting you off the line, for one 260whp to the front wheels with instant power = spinning. so your 0-60mph times most likely arent any quicker then 6 seconds esp on street tires.

well lets take into account i am also running 245 on the front so that does actually help me a bit with wheel spin. lol. but if the police ever start chasing me, i just dont think it would be from off the line. they would be sitting on the side of the road somewhere and clock me for speeding and then would have to catch up to me first....the cop that pulled me over last night said he had to get up to 80 to catch up to me and he turned on his lights probably 5 or 600 feet behind me....i remember my brother telling me a story about his G6 where the same thing happened to him on the same damn stretch of road and he just gunned it and got away. so i was thinking, if his G6 did it, im sure my cobalt could do it. but the voice reason overcame my longing to test my cars speed against a cop who can throw my ass in jail so i pulled over...and got a warning!!!! did god reward a good decision?

Also the same friend with his e85 LNF out ran one at our local track, as the state patrol puts on a take it to the track night and they bring out different police cars and will line up (lights on and everything) and race you if you ask.

Friend of mine is a cop, his department has one of those nice Taurus's, from a stop to pulled over someone going 75-85 (zone is 65) only takes a quarter mile, so just over an 1/8mile to catch up. If the cop isn't a ***** on the throttle he'll catch you quickly only getting up to 80 to "catch up" is him just embellishing the story or 80 is fast to him.

that would be alot of fun if i was out in Colorado. so how badly did the police car get beaten by in the quarter mile? what i find odd is that those cops use a twin turbo V6 cars are only making like 360hp/tq....very disappointing....especially for a newer vehicle. our LNF's make that with one turbo and a tiny ass 4 banger. i was talking to a state trooper about the taurus police cars. he said he hates them and wishes they had kept to the hemi chargers. i dont blame him. lol.

I have a valentine one and it seems to work pretty good. The only time I use it is when John sends me out to log 3rd gear pulls. I'm always running 5-10 over and haven't had issues. I do go 120mph but only at the drag strip. Quit going that fast a long time ago on public roads. Hitting anything that fast does lots of damage, even raccoons.
