it's more for wondering how much your stock can take.. by seeing the composition of it .. not to mention you know the CR and other things ..

like seeing that my rods are forged steel makes me feel comfortable to run 300+ whp easily.. and get hahns top end kit if i want to run 400 like them .. however the powder rods from the 2.2 obviously aren't going to hold up to anywhere near that..

All I know is our tranny's need a 6th gear to push the RPM to around 2000-2100 at 70. Cause this 2800 is bs lol Im not use to cruising at that high!

? at 75 i'm crusing at 2800 then again i'm modded so i dunno if that changes anything

the pistons are what seems to be the issue in these cars as much as the rods
