Looking for Brembo rear brakes

lookibg to replace the stock calipers with some Brembos to match the front, I don't know what size I need or what rotor to replace it with. Can anyone lend some insight? Also will rear brembos make the spare tire useless or is there a set of calipers small enough to still use the spare?

I don't think anyone has done this and I also don't think it's worth doing. I'm pretty sure we have enough brake from the front brembos alone.

No one has made a brembo upgrade for the back even with high demand back in the day.
Spare tire Is only to be used on the rear. You must swap a good rear tire to the front if it's flat.
You are always supposed to do this on fwd applications anyway. Spare tire isn't designed for the weight of the engine and steering duty. Also different tires on a differential is always a bad idea.

There was a guy that was working on making a set with ones I believe from a STI. I remember seeing it on FB a while back but he said he had a lot of money tied up in the project and I'm not even certain if he finished the setup.

He didnt and you will need an aux parking brake with sti or evo calipers as those usually use drum style ones.

This is not only unnecessary but probably also very unsafe.
The stock TC rear brakes are more than adequate and upgrading them will likely change the brake balance of the car which can be a very bad thing.
If you're doing this just for looks, may I suggest purchasing some Brembo covers to mount over the rear calipers. It's safer and will probably save you several hundreds of $$$. But I should also point out it is very RICE

I agree with colodude18, unnecessary and probably unsafe

However I refuse to second the caliper covers, as he said, rice...

If it is just for looks, just get a couple Brembo stickers and put them on the face of the caliper. At least it won't look like a plastic caliper

Those caliper covers made me lmao. yea I found another thread on here that got pretty huge and I guess nothing ever came out of it, ah well. I'll probably just paint them black anyhoo, and spend that cashola on something better. Thanks everyone
