use a voltage tester to make sure the power is getting to the wires in the trunk that pop it. if so, check connections. if connections are good, replace the latch.

use your key fob

use your key

keep your back seats down and army crawl to get what you need in the trunk

When mine did that, it was a fuse.

Had the dealer replace it so don't remember which one.

Wouldn't it completely stop working if it was a fuse tho? I will Have someone check the wires.

If the fuse is too small, It will prevent enough current getting through.

are you saying that your button under the dash works sometimes or are you saying sometimes your trunk button on your key remote only works sometimes?

I need clarification here.

My button doesn't work and I checked the fuse. Don't have the key fob and the physical lock won't turn. I fought to get into my trunk from the back seats and gave up lol. I'm going to bite the bullet and pay to have someone replace the locking mechanism on it.

I have to move my key around a bit to get it to open the trunk. Try lock de-icer and then moving the key a bit in and out while trying to turn.

Also it's pretty easy to pull the panel off that the button is in, then you can check the wiring easy or make sure the button is actually hitting the switch.

You really need to learn how to write better. Your posts hurt to read.

Yeah he was. Your sentence structure is terrible. Your grammar is even worse and we were having a hard time figuring out what you were talking about.

You're not helping your case with all of those exclamation points.

Relax. It's hard help when we can't make out what you're trying to get across.

I know it's easy to ramble on and understand your own text but from our point of view we can't make out what you're trying to say.
