upgrades on 06 Cobalt LS

I just bought my first Cobalt. It is a 2006 Chevy Cobalt LS completely stock with approximately 105k miles. I want to start adding performance upgrades to my car, but I don't really know where I should start. I do not want to swap the engine! I want to upgrade what is already there. Any helpful information is much appreciated.

Thanks.

Leave it stock. You'll thank me later.

yeah at most maybe put a intake and catback. I wouldn't get too crazy with anything.

Full bolt ons and a tune will net you 160 whp for $1500-2000

A supercharger setup used from an LSJ and a tune will get it 200whp for $1500-2000

That's your options.

They have an '06, only tuning support is trifecta (fail) or go stand alone

Supercharger kit would be the perfect route for you but the issue is that no one supports tuning for 05-06 Cobalt L61 so you can't really do anything without a tune. A supercharger kit can really wake these cars up and make them a lot of fun. If it wasn't for you being an 06 I would say go for it. I went the supercharger route with my 2.2 L61 Cobalt.
