Water leaking into cabin on passenger side floor

I noticed that a pool of water had started to form when I was driving home(High powered vac's ftw) last week. After a week of driving, I've diagnosed that it is definitely linked to the AC, but I don't have a clue what could be causing it.

Any thoughts?

Water or Antifreeze? It makes a difference. Your AC circuit could have a plugged drain hole in the condensation box- or your heater core could be leaking...

OR a leaky window.

you sure it's AC related? sounds like it's the sunroof drains... check them.. they could be clogged...that's usually what causes water to pool inside the car... if you don't have a sunroof then ignore my post

It's leaking underneath the dash. When the AC is running, with the hood open, you can see water dripping behind the passenger wheel. When you turn the AC off, the dripping stops. It's ALL the way up against the back, where it ramps up towards the glove box.

EDIT: And it is most certainly water.

I made a thread similar to this: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/appe...t-rain-226735/

Is mine definitely linked to rain only...? I mean that is the only time it happens to me. However, could I have something that is plugged on another thing that rain runs into and comes into the passenger side cabin?

Mine is just so weird, because it's only during a heavy rain, and I don't have a sunroof. My non-stock speakers are the only things I can think of...except the back floor gets wet too somehow on passenger side.

i believe there is a TSB out for it as i have the same problem....it is from the A/C. Could be a crack somewhere but the TSB states something about resealing the heater core. Only happens for me when its hot and very humid out.

Your best bet would prolly be to take it to a shop or something. There are so many places it could be leaking from. I know monte carlo's and impala's leaked under the cowl, and then water got into the area where the in cabin filter is and straight into the dash/hvac; corsica's leak in the corners of the firewall (espesially by the brake booster) onto the floor

It can be tough to try and find yourself, my dad's malibu was leaking into the trunk and i sat there with a hose and found it was leaking in right where the quarter panel mounts to the body. It was a pain in the ass.
