Hey guys, we need your help moving our new community banner across the country!
Our idea for the banner is to make its way cross country, and be photographed at organized meets and have each member sign their screename onto the banner ( please keep it small and approperiate ).

Another idea is as the banner crosses the country, that each state it stops in throw in a keychain, or tshirt, hat etc, of something from that state as a way of a unique way of tracking its destinations. If everyone who shows up at the meet pitches in a dollar or so it should be no problem in moving the banner from location to location or arrange a hand off member to member. There is no time limit that the banner has to return by, we do plan on adding a new forum to the site to help organize, document the travel, and co-ordinate the hand off between members. his is a great way to bring everyone out and together, and will be interesting to see where the banner goes.

Stay tuned for more details, but as of now, it looks like the banner will be starting in Connecticut at the September Sonic Meet!

Good idea, but time after time over the years, someone takes it and keeps it...

IMO best to charge $100 up front, 100% refundable upon return. That way it comes back after each location to have the items documented.

Just a thought to help make this work for years to come.

I dont know if people will do the 100$ thing. I think people will be able to post up who is getting it and who its shipping too. Tracking numbers and delivery confirmation are cheap and easy way to keep dibs on it.
