its is really wierd though i bought my car 1 montha nd a half ago it should be done with all of the updates. and i have the specre set up but i just took the 3 inch spacer off so the opening is 3.5 and tightened it really tight but i still get cel sometimes. my mom told me just to go with the ÆM intake or something should i put the 3 inch adaptor on and just shave it down and what should i use to shave it down

I just did the air box mod too, and it was really easy minus alot of screws to take out. I went to Pep Boys, and the one by my house had like 5 or 6 different filters to choose from. I got the generic cone filter just like all nice cold air intakes have that was only $25. It had the 3" 3.5" and 4" adapter, and the 3.5" worked perfect. My sc is infinitely louder now.

Yea I tightened it down as much as possible and I couldnt pull it out giving it some pretty good tugs so it should be fine. We should meet up some time to see each others car. Just pm me.

idle issues with airbox mod?
I just did the mod, same exact filter
the engine light came on as i expected i reved it up after driving a bit in the garage went up to about 4500 then let it down, it stopped at about 2,000 and reved itself up about 3g rpm then went back to idle. It idles fine but i wonder if this is just the computer getting used to the air mod or if it is possilby something else. I did disconnect the - on the battery for a few minutes
thanks
