My suggestion for getting the fuel filter - get it from crate engine depot. It is $34.16 + a few bucks for shipping which is way cheaper then what the dealership charges.

Got a DTC p0230, but figure thats cause i put the relay into the wrong slot when I put it back. cleared the code with my interceptor and that was that.

don't quote me for sure, but I believe it was the 1/2" quick disconnect. As far as using a $15 autozone fuel filter, I don't know how far I would trust it but if you wanna use it go ahead. Also as an FYI - the 2.0 uses a different part number for the fuel filter then the 2.2 and 2.4 cobalts.

you can NEVER EVER change ur fuel filter too soon or too often some times we change em at 15k just for preventive maintenance. as for part number call your local dealer they will be glad to give it to you but it goes from $46-$54 they're not cheap

you think those are expensive!!
Ok this may be old but I went to the dealer today and checked for a fuel filter in bucks!!! $85-86 So far I can't find a fuel filter at any local store other then the dealership I did go to canadian tire and the guy recomended a fuel filter that is pretty standard on most GM cars and trucks, I'm skeptical as hell at $5

haha nice...FYI these fuel filters are cheaper at gmpartsdirect.com then at crateenginedepot.com...its $31.76 there and $30.65 at parts direct lol...not a big difference but every penny counts sometimes. atleast for the same damn thing. also, if you or someone you know works for GM they can get it for $30.54.
