This is such a great project to spruce up the interior a bit. I'm working on my Blue LED swap now to contrast against my painted white door lock panels. But one annoying bit is finding the polarity on the PCB! I could not find any markings whatsoever for polarity on the double window switch on the driver's side circuit board. The first time, I soldered it in the wrong way and the LED didn't light, so I switched it around and then I was good. I mean its just a small nuisance but come onnnn lol

You didn't measure and mark before desoldering the bulbs?

Some LED leads are impossible to get to. Like the power window controls. The LED is soldered in under the power connector.

Thanks for write up, question

What bulb style should I have used? I ended up using white diffused white LEDs. The HVAC isn't as bright as I thought it would be. I figured white diffused would be best because it shines light equally in all directions. I guess what bothers me is the ac speed numbers don't light up equally
