Question ion to cobalt ss front end conversion

hey guys im new to the forum and i actually dont have a cobalt. i have a saturn ion sedan and would like to do a cobalt ss front end conversion. the front end of my car looks like a very disappointing smiley face and the headlights are very squarish and blocky but i love the look of the ss front bumber and headlights. they really look aggresive. so my question is if anyone knows anything of how to do this, and if anyone has a whole front end for sale ( by front end i do mean headlights, front bumber ss only, fenders, and hood.) id really appreciate any input.

to my knowledge it hasent been done...... be ready for A LOT of fitting, trimming, welding, and all the other ods and ends to make it happen. the doors arent even close to being the same.

what it comes down to its not worth the hassle. for the amount of time that will go into a project like this i would buy a cobalt.

well the main reason i wanted to do this was for the cobalt headlights, it makes it easy for me to get projectors rather than having to do a retrofit to get projectors. but what if i just buy the headlights and cut up the fenders front bumber and hood to make them fit? wud that be better?

Exactly...... I mean I don't think you realize just how much work this is. If you don't have a lot of body work experience this won't be cheap for you to have someone do. Your talking thousands of dollars to make this work in labor plus parts

You could make your own Retrofit projectors for 300$

Maven could do a set a amazing retros for you. After that do a redline front bumper. It will look a lot better.

thanks for the brutal honesty . i really do appreciate it. but i dont like the redline front end either. so ima scrap it all and just custom do everything. i do have around 5 years of body experience and i just wanted to try something no one has ever done before. ill come up with a better plan and figure out the answer to this ungly front end. thanks again.

Like everyone else advised, will be cheaper to pay someone to do retrofits on your Ion headlights than it will to do a front end conversion to a cobalt

I would save yourself a huge headache and buy yourself a cobalt ss. Lnfs can be had pretty cheap these days and lsjs even cheaper.your probably going to run into some structural issues with the core support and so forth.
