Please tell me you're not on the stock conti's. If so you HAVE to find some1 to ride with or another vehicle to drive.

You should get a set of Blizzaks for next winter. One of the best investments I've ever made. I don't spin at all unless I get into boost. And my Balt's seen the U.P. this winter and handled it like a champ!

I have a set I'll let you have for $125. You would need spacers though. Probably 1/4'' but the wheels are good for winter, I used them on my 2.4L. They're 17's which means cheaper Blizzaks as well.

Yea the chrome ones. They don't look horrible but they're not nice enough to care about either.

My tires aren't nearly as good this winter as they were last year (all season ContiExtremeContact), but I have night classes so usually by the time I go the roads are fine. Last winter I was driving 35 miles each way to work and it was like a tank, never had a problem with the front lip on the TC (stock height).

My car is all sorts of stock minus a tune and a trailer hitch imprint in my bumper...not very happy about the latter of those...I don't really feel the urge to mod the Cobalt, might get a catless DP if I find one on sale eventually, but yea, the rate it's burning through tires is quick enough for me ha.

Give it time, you'll be bolted up by the end of the summer.

I've had my car for a summer already and escaped with only buying a tune. I don't have a job and have grad school, car note/insurance, health insurance, beer, etc to pay for. Luckily I still get away with living @ home.

Probably lose the final 10 or so lbs needed to get some abs showing too, but beer is just so damn tasty. At least I constrain my drinking to Fri/Sat only.
