Would love to see the expression on his face when the wheel came off and the car hit the pavement!!!!

Then he would be like this little guy.

Yeah that was at NORA AutoX at Northfield Park in Northfield Ohio in 2009. I was standing to the right out of frame. If you wanna race thats where I'd recommend you AutoX. Its the best club in the Nation IMO. We have a few national champions in our ranks and host club vs club days. Most of the other super serious autoXers from around the nation stop by at least once in the season to race with us to size up their competition.

The hub of his diamond wheels fractured. virtually no damage to the car. He was out racing the very next weekend.

That car is SO SMALL, I love it. Its half a miata.

That sounds cool. Might have to see that next year. I would love to try the SS on something like that, just for fun.

So, that is the off road tire for his car in the lower left of the image then?? This is in the pic where he is trying to cut it up.

It is good to know that it was something that did not cause major damage. It does suck though having something like that break.

If I were you, I'd recommend getting the ZZP Control Arms (assuming they are the same dimensions and etc. as the stock ones) because I have heard a lot of fail incidents of the stock ones.

Ya, the turbo is nice, even better with the limited slip unit in it. Mine does the same, until the front tires break loose and then you get the smell of burning rubber in the morning!!!

Bpack, our cars are very similar, other than mine has 4 doors!!! I have red calipers too, but I put Brembo stickers on.

For me, the back doors were required. I have a back seat driver in a small seat.

She is getting to the age that I will have to make a run to Summit Racing to get the Simpson Racing car seat. So that means I will not have that rear facing seat in the car and have more room again. Even in our Malibu the rear facing seat takes up a ton of room.

Ya, I do like it for the sleeper look. Most people do not know about the sedan SS cars.

I was not completely impressed with the STI when I was looking. The AWD was nice, but the suspension was a bit soft and the one I was in had a sloppy shifter. It could have just been that one though. I also was not impressed with the Civic Si, you really had to push the hampster to get the car to move.

I had mentioned before that Dirty25RS and I want to setup a Nelson's Ledges meet when the weather gets warm. Although if we do that, any one who wants to race on the course will have to sit through the lecture of "What to do, what not to do, and the rules" etc. Also, there will be a fee too. I don't remember how much open track day costs up there. Hopefully Dirty can chime in with additional info.

IIRC, Dayton has a higher elevation than C-bus so more like a center drain

I'd be down for this. I'd like to see the powerband of my setup come spring. Note, not the setup in the sig by the sime spring hits

So, has anyone seen the White Pontiac Solstice Coupe that is running around in Wadsworth? I believe that it had a blue stripe on it, but it was at night and I was sitting at light on a side road when it went by.

I also saw a silver Cobalt with a Carbon Fiber trunk too.
