Never seen the silver one with a CF trunk. I know a guy with a regular silver one though.

Although I did see a silver SS/SC with gunmetal wheels getting off the highway by East Ave. in B-town today.

I was called into work tonight due to a problem, and on my way home I saw a Bright Red 09 Sedan SS getting off of 76 West onto 21 South. That is the first that I have seen this one. I usually am not out to late, I usually go in really early so the evenings I am at home.

Welcome Redsport

So not that it matter right now because it's cold as ***** anymore but do any of you guys ride streetbikes? If so we should plan for a group ride once the weather starts getting nice again, if any of you are into that (I know some guys don't like group rides).

Different source says...

Columbus: 902 ft
Dayton: 738 ft
Cleveland: 653 ft
Cincinnati: 482 ft

...since **** rolls downhill, maybe Dayton doesn't get it all.

New Image Powdercoating in Struthers did my wheels. They do excellent work. It was $80 per wheel for sandblasting, primer, color, and clear. I don't think they remove tires though, you'll probably have to do it somewhere else.

I know a guy who bought an STi. He took the heat shield off the turbo because it was rattling.

Here is a place in Medina, I have not used them though. My neighbor takes his BMW there for all of his tire work. My GM dealer also uses them for stuff and recomended them. I think they are about the same price that Tommy mentioned, as I did talk to them last year about powder coating mine.

Are you looking to get your wheels powder coated?

It'd look sweet if you could get them in a hyperblack finish.

I was thinking either Gunmetal or Anthrocite like Tommy's. Or very similar dark gray. I have seen a lot with black wheels, I would like something different than black. That is just my taste though. I am an older fart compared to most on this board, so I do like chrome wheels and polsihed wheels on cars. They do have to be done tastefully though.

I would like to have them done in Black Chrome, but I want them done in real Black Chrome plating, not powder coated.

Silver cars do have some possiblities, just don't do blue!!! I saw a Nissan with Blue wheels today, it just made me laugh.

My friend traded his Cobalt in for an 06 STi. He took the heat shield off the turbo because it was "rattling".

That is why they make Duct Tape, Zip Ties, and JB Weld. And this knob on the radio that goes up!!

So, did he see why it was rattling? There must of been a reason for that. Now he will have some heat soak on that thing.

Probably rattling because it was *gasp* loose!

It's also lowered all to hell. Tires rub like crazy, and as low as it is, it doesn't corner well.
