The 2.2 ecotec was quite common 10 years ago but less common as time has gone on due to Eco stuff but think they still label there smaller engines ecotec
But mainly in motorway bashed cars

Fancy putting one in a vx220 ( made by lotus if you didn't guess ) it's very much like the new exige v6 chassis but 12 years old now lol

I bought a brand new 2.0 turbo saab engine ( B207 )put 2.2 crank in with forged Pistons and rods uprated valve springs and a set of ZzP stage 2 cams and stuck a HARROP on it and here we are,
And some fancy software to run it all on

Thanks for the welcome
Got the LS4 working on my setup
Took a bit to get it to run at idle due to the throttle position to valve position in the TB

I've now put my 125mm intake on to the LS4 TB and will give the car a full remap and see how it goes

Always liked these little cars. Seeing as Vauxhall is a fully owned subsidiary of gm. Im surprised this didn't make it to the states as a Pontiac fiero of sorts.

Inexpensive mid-engine sports cars sound fun. Its unfortunate we don't have hardly any here.

Thought i would update this thread a little bit
water injec tion is now fitted and im using 100% water (no meth)i also have a failsafe map with lower ignition which automatically kicks in if the water injection system runs out of water or fails
its not yet completely mapped but the cooling of the iat has really helped with the car

ive still not cracked the 400 hp mark but im getting closer

the water injection is controlled via the ecu and the injector duty cycle
