If I were you and all checks out good, I would buy it if you have the money for it. That's a beautiful car. Cobalts look great in rally yellow and the interior looks great. Whoever owned it babied it.

Looks pretty good and and price is reasonable.

I would try to get a compression and leakdown test if possible. Not a bad idea on any hi-po hi milage engine.

On a test drive do all the normal stuff check engine brakes tranny clutch on accell and decel, but do some side to side maneuvers and make sure all the steering gear and suspension components are good. With that many miles stuff like shocks struts control arm bushings sway bar bushings endlinks should probaly have been replaced by now. If not it will be sloppy if it is dont be deterred from the car its all easy to fix just get it cheaper.

May want to confirm on timing belt or timing chain

Looks clean though, just take it for a good test drive and check the usual things

Looks good and looks clean. If it test drives well and there seems to be no issues then i would definitely go for it and maybe offer around 5500 see if he will come down at all. Also if he is okay with getting an inspection or some compression tests ran on it i would do so.
