Can get a Wet Nitrous System Cheap...Opinions??

So I can get a $500 Nitrous System locally for pretty cheap. Its a 75 Shot NOS Sniper Kit. Guy wants $60 for it. He ran it on his 2JZ-GE Lexus. I saw the car and it ran nice with the Nitrous Shot, but he wasn't tuned for it so that engine was most likely a ticking time bomb. I'm debating on running this for a little extra bump and to spool the turbo a lil quicker. I believe someone else ran one on the ZZP Turbo Kit and then went even bigger turbo. I'm debating on running it and if not I suppose I could sell it to someone on the forums. It has the big 20lb tank with it and I have looked at the kit myself as he sold it to a friend of mine with a 2008 IS250 but he decided he's swapping to a 2JZGTE, it is by no means a junk kit from what I saw of it.

Nope, input shaft bearing went on the trans. Decided I'd take it to ZZP for 4.45 gears and a rebuild.

The sniper shot isn't $500, can be had for under $300. But that's still a great deal.

Nope, just cam table issues and it would put out a puff of smoke when it sat and idled til the rings seated. Everyone had the same issue I had when running the cams though. Dead spot around 1krpm-2krpm with jerking. I didn't even get the 1st log sent to Matt due to bad weather before the trans went. I'm sure ZZP can straighten that out in the tune when I bring it up as its getting dyno tuned on E with the 5th injector and 340lph pump. Hoping to be a lil above 500 at the wheel on E for weekend runs and have a 93 tune for DDing it when I don't wanna drive the truck.

Yeah I have that kit and it is great. But you will need a pressure gauge and bottle heater though.

i second that, to work properly.. without the bottle heater you'll use only half the kit's potential.. the bottle heater make the NOS flow faster, and once you have the kit install GET TUNED!!

Just make sure the solenoids are good. If not don't buy it. Test them if you can. They go bad if you don't use them for a while, or if they got too hot. I used to have nitrous on my jeep.

He already sold it but I think I'm gonna buy a new kit and spray the front mount. Won't need tuned for that and I won't have the kit soon enough for when I'm up at ZZP.
