Finished NOS install tonight

I was nervous to push the button, but before i could the thing busted a big leak under the hood. I thought my hood was going to blow off. Had to stop in middle of the road run to the trunk and close the valve. Good thing no cops saw this. I will have pics soon, and track times. still have my fingers crossed that it goes smoothly tomorrow after i repair my leak.

My guess is no...probably Nitrous Express....Or whatever company that is...

Fast and the Furious made everybody start saying "I have NOS" when NOS is a brand, not a shortened down version of Nitrous.

Anywho, dry or wet shot?? What size shot??

It probably is a Holley/NOS kit. Most well known anyway, where the trademark blue bottles come from.

If your leak is at a connection make sure you're using teflon paste,
TEFLON PASTE, not teflon tape. Also, -AN fittings don't use anything.

My car is gone actually, long story. I'm in between fun cars right now, just driving my beater and my old truck, figuring out what i'm gonna get next.

Can be done with tape if you know what you are doing and are careful, but yeah, use the paste sealant.

Just because it can be done, doesn't mean it should be.
If you're being "careful", you'll use what you should be using and not what you can be.
If you just don't give a f..., use whatever you want.

No, if you know what you are doing and only have tape, it works just fine. MOST people don't know how to use teflon tape correctly. I haven't had a problem yet on probably 6 installs.

upper or lower? and why? The manifold is made to withstand 12.5 pounds of boost. and nitrous shouldnt cause more pressure to the manifold unless i was spraying directly in it, but ill hook up a computer and check the MAP sensor reading while spraying just to see.

Oh yea. i talked to Charleston county Commander i head said "as long as you can drive legal it shouldnt be a problem." I hooked my fuel line to the Fuel pressure test port. and yes i took the valve out, but it is tricky to seal because 20 style threads arent made to seal, but it wasnt a fuel leak. fuel doesnt look like snow and my car wouldnt run it had that big of a fuel leak and the fuel pump doesnt make that much pressure

If you know what you're doing you use what your supposed to, not whatever's available.
How about this...You do whatever you want. It's your risk/responsibility. Good luck.

I used paste on my whole set up and it worked on sum and didnt on others for some reason. so i used tape on the ones that leaked. and tape is fine as long as you dont wrap it all the way to the end where it sould come off and clog the line....

danger to manifold? how so? I'm not spraying directly into the manifold and the pressure in the manifold is next to nothing at full throttle so it cant be pressure im condcerned about. but i'll check my MAP sensor readings just to see.(danger to manifold) isnt that from the fast and the furious. i would like facts not qoutes please.

ignore that last quote of mine. i didnt see the rest for some reason. and i used tape again today and i went over it several times and it works just fine. and i have a N.O.S. system, and people keep looking at my car and calling it nos at it irritates me but what can you do. and im in mt pleasant.

im an idiot i didnt see the rest cause i didnt see page 2. no im not in the airforce. and i need to stop posting drunk.
