Spark Plugs: Heat Rating

I'm in the middle of a nitrous install (build thread to come) and I'm trying to select the proper plugs. I have a 2006 SS Sedan LE5. I'm going to be spraying 100 shot so....

According to NX they suggest to select 1 step colder plugs per 75 shot. I think I could get away with 1 step colder (someone pipe in if that's a stupid statement). I'm worried about having to deal with fouling if I go 2 steps colder. I'd rather not have to pull plugs every week to clean them.

The stock plugs in the car are made by AC Delco Part Number is either 41-103, 41-834, or 17. (I am away on business otherwise I would pull it look on the side of the plug.)

This plug was suggested that is 1 step colder (standard copper) => NGK LFR6A-11
NGK LFR7A-11 doesn't exist. Not sure there is another plug made that is 2-steps colder.

Any opinions on if iridium or platinum plugs would be more resistant to heat if I can't get a 2 step colder plug? According to everything I have read they seem more durable. I know I cannot adjust the gap. Also does anyone recommend going to a tighter gap? (stock being .43 gap)

I'm also curious about plugs and some part numbers for colder plugs since I want to spray my 2.2L
