GM build book shows a 35shot for the SS/SC as being perfectly safe for the engine, many have ran 50 shots though. I'm not positive about the SS/TC though, I wouldn't run it without a tune at least as the learn down may counteract the spray

thanks, do you have a preference on what kit is the best with a stock motor or doesnt it really matter. i have looked into the 4 he put on the write up but being a first time user i really dont know much about it.

doesnt matter too much, its mostly personal preference. be sure to get most of the goodies though, a good window switch is key (you can youtube cobalt 2.2 nitrous blow and see what happens when a window switch fails...), bottle warmer, purge kit (not super important), etc. nitrous kits are pretty universal, just get a good kit and not just a bottle/lines. also you may want to go 1step colder (i never ran nitrous on my SS/SC, just my LT and i went 2 step because of the 90 shot).

as far as filling it, no idea.. but look around for small race/performance shops
You never mentioned if he needed to tune it or not. Just contemplating the same build; thanks for the info!

Sooooo I could run a 75 shot with 2.8, 60's, and S3 H/e and NO headwork & (probably) not run into any problems?.. no way.

"Popular 1 Step Colder Plugs - 2.2/2.4:
NGK LTR6IX-11 (P/N - 6509)"

ZZP says that these plugs shouldn't be gapped. They come .044. Is that okay to run, or is that too big a gap?

Is there some kind of problem you have with me man? I'm asking about the nitrous for future reference. I'll deal with my belt.

No Im just generally a dick, a sometimes helpful dick. Dont take it personally. check your belt thread too, my last post will probably be a lot more helpful than my first.
