I have a buddy who's had an 04 GTO and an 06...can't really compare them though...lol. He had the 04 with an auto and not a lot of work done...the 06 was manual with a fully built engine...he sold it last year. He bought it built, but they didn't touch the tranny and he blew that up...had one built and installed, then sold the car for what he paid a year earlier. He said the 6.0 is the only way to go.
The only way I'd buy a GTO I decided was if I could get an 06 in Cosmos Purple Metallic which was only available on the 04's...wish they wouldn't have killed that color.
I personally want a Sky RL or Solstice GXP, but that's me. Unfortunately they are over-priced.

No, that's not bad, but I see so many going for 20+ right now...it's such a ripoff unless you find the right one.
I was really upset because Luther Brookdale Chev had an HHR SS for less than 16k that was really nice a few months back. I didn't get a chance to go test drive it, but it had decent mileage for a decent price (considering what the rest of them were going for at the time elsewhere)...just wanted to test drive it even though I couldn't afford it and I couldn't have traded my car in for it.
For a really long time there was a green Sky RL that had a two-tone paint job...it was way cheaper than all the others out there and it just didn't sell...wanted that one because I thought it was different (since that was Saturn's original motto...I thought it was fitting...but that finally sold too).
Now that I have my living situation figured out, I can see I won't for sure be able to get another car for quite some time. Obviously I have to get myself back on my feet first (due to the foreclosure and other debt). But I hope my current situation will work for a while (moving in with a buddy who's getting divorced because his wife did the same thing as mine....I don't know what it is about women and cheating...I really don't). He doesn't want to sell or lose his house, so I'm renting the basement for my son and I. Should be good for all of us (my buddy as well as my son and I).

IT'S ON! I've got a few tricks up my sleeve...tacks, marbles, and oil...if you don't have a flat, you'll be spinning through the oil and marbles...that'll give me a good head start.

Well now that I have no money, but I have some fun things to do to my car that have been sitting around, I thought I'd get them done...I installed my license plate, dome, and reverse LED's...pass side reverse doesn't work...bad LED...will have to have it replaced. The rest look good. Installed one of my HID's in the Depo headlight...looks so much better than a regular bulb. 8000k is what I got even though I ordered 6000k...they aren't too much of a blue color so I'm fine with them. Kind of happy I didn't get the 6000k...I think when I do find work again, I'll order some 5000k to see what those are like in there.
Large pics, I know...oh well.
On to another topic...I'm excited for some of the jobs that I applied for. It's nice to know a lot of people that know people as well...networking has got to be the best thing ever when it comes to trying to find a job. I'm going to start hitting up some of my contacts from when I was a delivery driver at Culligan and see if any of those companies are hiring. Would be extremely happy to get a job for Coca Cola that is a driver/merchandiser position...not just a merchandiser like I applied for 6 years ago...it's nice having the CDL B, wish it were A though. Hopefully this being fired turns into something really good for me since I've just been wasting my life away at Culligan for 6 years not really getting anywhere.

Wanna buy some stock headlights for the LOW price of $150 for the pair? They're USED, they're from my 07 LS, they aren't in perfect shape AND they come with one burnt out bulb and one that works. The turn signals both work though...so that's got to be worth something right?
It's nothing new though P, I mean look at the vendors even...Modern has the Gen 4's for $190 plus shipping...another vendor is trying to sell them for $300 plus shipping...I mean really? Guess who I bought mine from....
I know it's not quite the same, but the general practice is the same. I do the same thing, but I haven't had any warnings or anything, I just get bitched at by the seller saying not to bash them...I'm not bashing anyone, I'm telling you where you can find it cheaper.
