It's way better than an Cobalt LS, that's for damn sure. I would have enjoyed an HHR SS or SS/TC sedan for sure, but there are so many things that the Cruze has that the Cobalt can't compete with. Talking about my Cobalt in comparison to my Cruze...the seats are way nicer in the Cruze, the fact I have all the power features I used to have in my old Saturn and then some, I'm quite happy. Right now the mileage is the same as my Cobalt, but I don't even have 700 miles on it yet...I'm sure by summer I'll be seeing big differences in fuel economy. The mod bug has already bit me and I'm going to start doing things to it. Try to stay away from performance for a while....
For sure list of things that will be done this year:
20% tint
WeatherTech mats
GM fog light kit
Intake Resonator Delete (done)
Debadge "CRUZE" and "LT" from back of car
Overlays for front and rear Chevy bowties
Whiteline rear sway bar
Lowering springs (not sure which ones yet...most have similar drop...right around 1.2-1.4")
18" wheels with 235/45 tires
I may not get around to all of this during this year...most will be easy, but the wheels/tires are the only thing I'm not sure about. I'll be using the stock wheels for winter tires next year so the following spring I will have 18" wheels for sure.
I'm not looking to do too much to the car, but enough to make it stand out and make it mine.
