Guess I should have asked also which model you had as well. Good to see you solved the problem.

2009 SS/TC

Car was running better briefly but then P0326 CEL came back a few days after dealer visit so I did some more digging...
This link sounds exactly like my symptoms so I will try the EVAP purge and/or tank vent solenoids:

well ive been losing coolant for a few weeks now, was hoping it wasnt the head gasket...but after doing a hard pull the other night coolant decided to cover my windshield from the vents in the hood, then stop..lost about an inch from the reservoir, so now i get to replace all the 50 or so spring clamps on the drivers side where all the coolant lines are to figure out which one is allowing coolant to pass by

Wouldn't you be better off getting some UV dye and a blacklight and just seeing where the leak is?

Sounds like Craig, he lives somewhere around you near RA... I feel like he's on here, but have no idea what his S/N is anymore.

He's a little older, does track days at RA, but didn't see him out this year at all.

Yep that's him. Must be a different thread because I even went back like 4 pages (to March...) in this thread and he never showed up, so I got impatient and gave up trying to find him.

Hi everyone. My names Ricky. I just moved up here from Indiana. Just wanted to see if there are any meets/groups that get together on a regular basis.

that's funny. This was the only autox event I got to this year. I spent too much time fixing little things on the car and getting the tune dialed in this year. The autox wasn't bad, but it reinforced everything I kind of already knew about the car: needs more chassis bracing, and much better tires. The 7 year old stockers just weren't cutting it . The only other car in A modified was a 2006 Z06, cammed and on E85, running 335 wide tires on all four corners. I didn't stand a chance haha.

The weather wasn't bad, a little cold but still sunny. The course was decently fast in some areas, there were a few spots in the course that if I lined myself up well enough I could go WOT through a few cone gates in a row. Unfortunately they stiffled all of that speed with sharp 90 degree turns after every straight. I could put the power down as long as I kept it straight, if I spooled up exiting any sort of turn she would just light them up .

Hey -
So my timing chain skipped a few teeth and now I have a couple of bent valves... and I also noticed a little bit of burned oil on top of piston rings... I plan on rebuilding the engine, but I figured now is a good time to do some possible upgrading... Does anyone have some suggestions on where/what I should consider? Any help is appreciated..

Plus your not going to want to mix and match springs on a car not a wise thing to do safety wise in less they have similar spring rates. Unless your trying to replace broken or collapsed springs. But I think your going to have a very hard time finding only rears.
